How Many DMV Practice Tests Should You Take?
Since this DMV practice test has fewer questions than the real California DMV exam, you should take at least a handful of tests to cover all the important areas of the knowledge exam.
The passing score in California is close to 83%. If miss 9 or more of the 46 questions on the permit test, you must wait one week before retaking the test. So, it is a good idea to study enough to pass the test the first time.
You should aim for a score of at least 92% (23 correct answer) on the practice test. This will help you determine if you are ready for the real thing or not.
